Bronze Copper Makeup Tutorial

Bronze Copper Makeup Tutorial

BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo palette
Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve had some personal things going on. I have suffered from depression and anxiety since I was a kid. I have random times where it hits like a ton of bricks. I’m finally moving past it and excited to be posting again! I love writing, especially when it’s about something I’m so passionate about! If you guys have and tutorials, reviews or general posts that you want to see, let me know in the comments!

The look I did today is what I wore when I took my daughter school shopping this year! She's entering 5th grade, which is middle school in our district. We’re both so excited and nervous for her new adventure! For this look I wanted to keep things more natural so I didn’t do a wing or anything too fancy! I used my trusty Shaaanxo palette she came out with last year with BH Cosmetics. By keeping things simple with this look I still ended up using five or six shades. I just can’t help myself, lol.

BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo palette

BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo palette
To start out this look I used my favorite eyeshadow primer by Hard Candy and set it with the matte cream shade (1). Through the crease I built up and blended out the orange shade (2) till it was soft and hazy. To darken up tighter in the crease, I went in lightly with the brick shade (3), softly blending until there weren't any harsh lines. On the lid, I used a flat shader brush and setting spray to pack on the rose gold shade (4) then used a clean brush to soften edges. To complete the eyeshadow look and deepen the outer corner, I took the deep black that has a brown undertone (5) just in the outer V.

Thank you all so much for stopping by today. I appreciate all of your support and can't wait to be back at posting twice a week. If you'd like to see youtube videos, let me know and ill try to start filming some!  All products are listed below along with all of my social media links!

Soft Everyday Winged Look

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Today I want to share with you the look I wore this year to our family's Fourth of July party! It's so simple yet so pretty. This is one of my go to looks. Depending on what I'm doing that day decides if I’m going to do a Wing or not. In this case, I wanted to look a little nicer, so I did a wing! To me, a winged eyeliner just pulls a whole look together! I’m slowly learning each time I do my makeup, how to do my winged eyeliner better and better. If you’re struggling with it too, just practice. I did do an entire post on winged eyeliner tips and tricks, which you can find here! Let’s get crackin!

This entire eye look is using the BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel palette. To start out this look I'm going to prime my eyelids with the Hard Candy Eyeshadow Primer and set it with the matte cream shade. For the crease I'm going in lightly with the soft warm brown and the lighter plum shade. For the lid I’m using the light pink shimmer shade that has a light peach tone to it. I just pack it on the lid and go in lightly with the plum shade to blur any harsh lines and keeping everything soft and relatively light. I don’t want to too Smokey, it’s for a family event after all, lol. I’ll have everything I used listed below!

Thank you so much for checking out this tutorial. I hope that if you did enjoyed this tutorial, you’ll share it on social media. I also filmed a short clip of this look and uploaded it to YouTube Here. Let me know if you’d like me to start doing full tutorials along with the blog posts! Hit up the comments down below!

Rose Gold Glam

BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo Palette
Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today i want to share this beautiful rose gold inspired makeup tutorial featuring the Shaaanxo palette by BH Cosmetics. Recently I've become so obsessed with copper and rose gold decor and accents. So when I realized there was a rose gold shade in the Shaaanxo Palette, I had to do a tutorial! I ended up wearing this look to the grocery store and my makeup stayed on through all of my sweating and rushing around. So whatever I did with my face makeup that night, was something I need to do more often. I'll touch on that a bit more down below! Let's get started!

To start out this look I'm going to be priming my eyelids with the Hard Candy Eyeshadow Primer and set it with the matte cream shade like I always do with every look. In the crease, I went in lightly with a fluffy brush into the brick shade, slowly building up a hazy warm crease. For the lid I took a flat shader brush and picked up the rose gold shade, spraying it with some setting Spray to intensify the pigmentation. To blend the edges, I lightly faded the rose gold shade on a dry brush. To darken the outer corner i used the darkest shade and kept it closer to the lash line and outer corner. To finish off the eyeshadow, I used the Champagne color on my brow bone to soften and blend everything out.
BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo Palette
For my face makeup I used my setting Spray, then primer and let them sit for a few minutes before moving on to concealer then foundation. I think doing that helped with the longevity of my makeup. One main problem I had that day was I didn’t wash my face that morning, so my dry skin patches seemed to flake pretty bad by the end of the night. The areas on my face that don't have dry patches, seemed to hold up really well though!

Pink Summer Makeup Tutorial

Pink Summer Makeup Tutorial

Pink Summer Makeup Tutorial
Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! Today I want to do a fun tutorial using a pop of pink on the lid! I don't know what it is, but recently I’ve loved wearing pink on my eyes. That’s something I would have never done a few months ago. I'm really starting to express myself through my makeup! I'm loving it. It’s just fun and bright for summer! I’m going to go through all of my makeup and see what I’ve got to work with! This should be interesting! Also, I've had requests to film myself doing makeup, so I’m going to take a crack at it and see how it goes. If I film this look, I'll have the link down below! (Didn’t film is, oops.)

Makeup Revolution Redemption Eyeshadow Palette Iconic 3
After a quick look through all of my palettes, I decided to go with the Makeup Revolution Redemption Eyeshadow Palette in Iconic 3. This palette has a lot of the pink shades I was looking for! To start out this look I primed my lids with the hard candy eyeshadow primer and set it with the matte cream shade (1). After that I warmed up my crease and defined it using a warm taupe (2). For the lid I used the three shimmery metallic pinks on a wet brush to intensify their pigmentation. On the middle if the lid I used a bright warm pink (3) faded to the dark pink / burgundy (4) shade in the outer corner. On the inner corner I used the pale frosty pink (5) to brighten up the eyes. To deepen the crease and blend the outer corner to middle of the crease I went in with a dry fluffy brush into a dark taupe purple (6) and back into shade 1 to soften the inner corner to middle of the crease. That’s it for the eyeshadow! It was so simple and beautiful! For this look I went with black in the tight line and water line and decided not to do a wing. I wanted to keep this look nice and bright. I still had to use back in the water lines because I don’t have a nude pencil and while doesn’t look right, it was too bold and took away from the eyelids.

I hope you love this makeup look as much as I do. It’s so light and summery looking, it could easily become an everyday makeup look! I’m sorry I’ve been absent from blogging, I’ve had a lot of self doubt and lack of inspiration the last three weeks and in finally figuring out that everyday I waste is a day I’m not succeeding in life! This is something I love to do and shouldn’t feel ashamed to do it. I’ve wasted too many weeks feeling doubtful. I’m over it! Thank you so much for checking out this tutorial and I hope if you have any comments or suggestions you’ll leave them below!

Bronze Goddess Makeup Tutorial

Bronze Goddess Makeup TutorialHey guys what’s up? Welcome back to my blog! Today I started playing in makeup and ended up doing a super bronze, orangey smoky eye look that I am loving!!! So I thought I’d hop on and share this look with you today! I know this is not a very summery look, but I love it none the less. I hope you love it as much as I do! To create this eye look I used both the Carli Bybel palette and the Shaaanxo palette. To achieve this look you need a matte cream shade, some orange, brick, dark brown and of course a deep bronze shimmer. Let’s get into the look!
To start out this look, I did all of my face makeup first. Items used will be listed below. To start the eyes, I primed using my concealer and set it with the matte nude in the Carli Bybel palette. Next I took the orange and brick shades in the Shaaanxo palette on a fluffy brush and blended it through the crease going well above with the lighter orange. Going back into the Carli Bybel palette I picked up the darkest matte brown shade and ran it through the outer crease to deepen everything up. I wanted this look to be darker than what it turned out, but these shadows are so pigmented and easy to blend that I didn’t want to overdo it. For the lid I went in with the darkest “highlight” shade, and packed it all over the lid. I went back in with a clean blending brush to soften the edges. Under the lash line I went back in with the bronze shade and blended it up to the outer lash line. That’s the eye shadow done!

Lana Del Rey Makeup Tutorial

Lana Del Rey Makeup Tutorial

Lana Del Rey Makeup Tutorial

Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! Are you guys in love with Lana del Rey as much as I am? If so I hope you love this makeup look. It’s super natural and flawless looking with a bold cat eye! It’s almost a “no makeup, makeup look” with some sassiness. I’d honestly wear this look daily if I had time to do my makeup everyday, lol. The eyeshadow it’s self is minimal, but you have to be careful how you place the color through the crease.

Let’s get started with the eye makeup!

To start out this look I’m going to prime my eyelids with the Hard Candy Eyeshadow Primer and set it with a matte cream shade from the Shaaanxo palette. That’s going to give everything a smooth surface for blending, if you don’t set your eyelids your eyeshadow can drag and look choppy. For the crease, I’m going in with the darkest matte shade in the palette. What you want to do is take a tightly packed pencil brush, dipped in the darkest shade and keep it right in the crease. Lana does a soft a subtle dark faded line through the crease. It’s almost hidden, but brought pretty far into the inner part of the crease. If it’s too dark, take a soft fluffy brush with the light matte shade and blend the line out so it’s softer. To finish off the iconic Lana Del Rey Makeup look, you have to add the strong black wing! I’m using the Ulta Classic Felt Tip Liner. Lana has a long wing normally, so I’m going to use some scotch tape to keep the liner even and straight.
Lana Del Rey Makeup Tutorial

Bottom Lash Line & Mascara.

Now, for the bottom lash line, she does a few things. This is where you want to decide which if Lana Del Rey’s eye looks suit your look. Sometimes she has a thicker wing with heavy black liner on her lash line. One thing I’ve noticed, she doesn’t often have anything in her waterline. In your waterline you want to either use a nude or white pencil. If you’re the kind of person who hates the look of nothing in their waterline, line it, you do you. I have a hard time not having black liner on my waterline, but for the sake of the look I’m using a white liner. Lana's bottom lashes always have mascara, very spread out and evenly coated is the goal. A tip I have if your lashes want to clump, use a clean tooth pick to gently separate your lashes once they’ve dried. I’ll have all of the products I used in this look listed below!
