Soft Everyday Winged Look

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Today I want to share with you the look I wore this year to our family's Fourth of July party! It's so simple yet so pretty. This is one of my go to looks. Depending on what I'm doing that day decides if I’m going to do a Wing or not. In this case, I wanted to look a little nicer, so I did a wing! To me, a winged eyeliner just pulls a whole look together! I’m slowly learning each time I do my makeup, how to do my winged eyeliner better and better. If you’re struggling with it too, just practice. I did do an entire post on winged eyeliner tips and tricks, which you can find here! Let’s get crackin!

This entire eye look is using the BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel palette. To start out this look I'm going to prime my eyelids with the Hard Candy Eyeshadow Primer and set it with the matte cream shade. For the crease I'm going in lightly with the soft warm brown and the lighter plum shade. For the lid I’m using the light pink shimmer shade that has a light peach tone to it. I just pack it on the lid and go in lightly with the plum shade to blur any harsh lines and keeping everything soft and relatively light. I don’t want to too Smokey, it’s for a family event after all, lol. I’ll have everything I used listed below!

Thank you so much for checking out this tutorial. I hope that if you did enjoyed this tutorial, you’ll share it on social media. I also filmed a short clip of this look and uploaded it to YouTube Here. Let me know if you’d like me to start doing full tutorials along with the blog posts! Hit up the comments down below!

Rose Gold Glam

BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo Palette
Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today i want to share this beautiful rose gold inspired makeup tutorial featuring the Shaaanxo palette by BH Cosmetics. Recently I've become so obsessed with copper and rose gold decor and accents. So when I realized there was a rose gold shade in the Shaaanxo Palette, I had to do a tutorial! I ended up wearing this look to the grocery store and my makeup stayed on through all of my sweating and rushing around. So whatever I did with my face makeup that night, was something I need to do more often. I'll touch on that a bit more down below! Let's get started!

To start out this look I'm going to be priming my eyelids with the Hard Candy Eyeshadow Primer and set it with the matte cream shade like I always do with every look. In the crease, I went in lightly with a fluffy brush into the brick shade, slowly building up a hazy warm crease. For the lid I took a flat shader brush and picked up the rose gold shade, spraying it with some setting Spray to intensify the pigmentation. To blend the edges, I lightly faded the rose gold shade on a dry brush. To darken the outer corner i used the darkest shade and kept it closer to the lash line and outer corner. To finish off the eyeshadow, I used the Champagne color on my brow bone to soften and blend everything out.

For my face makeup I used my setting Spray, then primer and let them sit for a few minutes before moving on to concealer then foundation. I think doing that helped with the longevity of my makeup. One main problem I had that day was I didn’t wash my face that morning, so my dry skin patches seemed to flake pretty bad by the end of the night. The areas on my face that don't have dry patches, seemed to hold up really well though!

Pink Summer Makeup Tutorial

Pink Summer Makeup Tutorial

Pink Summer Makeup Tutorial
Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! Today I want to do a fun tutorial using a pop of pink on the lid! I don't know what it is, but recently I’ve loved wearing pink on my eyes. That’s something I would have never done a few months ago. I'm really starting to express myself through my makeup! I'm loving it. It’s just fun and bright for summer! I’m going to go through all of my makeup and see what I’ve got to work with! This should be interesting! Also, I've had requests to film myself doing makeup, so I’m going to take a crack at it and see how it goes. If I film this look, I'll have the link down below! (Didn’t film is, oops.)

Makeup Revolution Redemption Eyeshadow Palette Iconic 3
After a quick look through all of my palettes, I decided to go with the Makeup Revolution Redemption Eyeshadow Palette in Iconic 3. This palette has a lot of the pink shades I was looking for! To start out this look I primed my lids with the hard candy eyeshadow primer and set it with the matte cream shade (1). After that I warmed up my crease and defined it using a warm taupe (2). For the lid I used the three shimmery metallic pinks on a wet brush to intensify their pigmentation. On the middle if the lid I used a bright warm pink (3) faded to the dark pink / burgundy (4) shade in the outer corner. On the inner corner I used the pale frosty pink (5) to brighten up the eyes. To deepen the crease and blend the outer corner to middle of the crease I went in with a dry fluffy brush into a dark taupe purple (6) and back into shade 1 to soften the inner corner to middle of the crease. That’s it for the eyeshadow! It was so simple and beautiful! For this look I went with black in the tight line and water line and decided not to do a wing. I wanted to keep this look nice and bright. I still had to use back in the water lines because I don’t have a nude pencil and while doesn’t look right, it was too bold and took away from the eyelids.

I hope you love this makeup look as much as I do. It’s so light and summery looking, it could easily become an everyday makeup look! I’m sorry I’ve been absent from blogging, I’ve had a lot of self doubt and lack of inspiration the last three weeks and in finally figuring out that everyday I waste is a day I’m not succeeding in life! This is something I love to do and shouldn’t feel ashamed to do it. I’ve wasted too many weeks feeling doubtful. I’m over it! Thank you so much for checking out this tutorial and I hope if you have any comments or suggestions you’ll leave them below!
