Makeup Revolution Iconic Newtrals 2
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today I have this beautiful tutorial to share with you. I am so obsessed with this look. It’s bright, shiny and stunning. Not to mention the pallet I used today, is $7.00…. Yes, seven dollars. The eyeshadows are all super pigmented, buttery and blend like a dream. I have no clue why I don’t use it more often. Makeup Revolution kills it with their palettes! The palette I used today is their Reloaded Iconic Newtrals 2. I bought it from Ulta a few months back and I’m so happy with my purchase. There’s 11 matte shadows (some look like they have shimmer, but it doesn’t show on the lid) and there are 4 buttery almost metallic shades. Okay, enough obsessing over this palette and let’s get into this tutorial!
Makeup Revolution Iconic Newtrals 2

To start this look, I did all of my face makeup first, so I primed and set my lids with my foundation and setting powder. Everything is listed down below as always. Since my lids were already set, I went in with the shade I marked as 1. This is a light warm tan color, I always blend higher that’s your “supposed to” because I have hooded eyes. With shades 2 and 3, I did the same thing and went in my crease with them. Keeping each darker shade slightly lower than the one before. Shade 2 is a pure rusty orangey red. Shade 3 is a darker brick red. I kept shade 3 more towards the outer corner. Now for the metallic buttery shades. I literally used my fingers to apply them at first. I put shade 4 just on the outer third, it’s a dark burgundy almost brick color. Shade 5 I put from the inner corner all the way to shade 4 and patted them together to blend them. Shade 5 is probably my favorite eyeshadow in this palette, it’s a hot pink / fuschia color that is so stunning and blinding! To soften up all the edges, I took a little of the lid shades and patted the edges out and also brought them on the lower lash line. For the inner corner and brow bone, I used shade 6, a pale nudey pink that’s super glowy.

Makeup Revolution Iconic Newtrals 2 That’s it for today’s makeup tutorial! I had a lot of fun with this one. I dumped a bunch of makeup on the living room floor and sat there and just played in makeup. I haven’t done something like that in a long time. It’s my happy place, some of y’all know I have some serious anxiety and take medicine for it. I still get anxious, panicked, I freak out inside. But when I sit down with makeup and focus on something I love doing so much, it calms me. I feel okay and I feel normal. Some people don’t get it. But hey, it’s for me to get and some to understand. Not everyone gets what I’m going through daily, if you do then hey, let’s chat in the comments! Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate you.
Xoxo, Lulu.

Pride Month Makeup Tutorial

Pride Month Makeup Tutorial
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Also, welcome to June, which is Pride Month! The month where you celebrate who you are and what you stand for! Another large part of pride month is the rainbow, all the colors of the rainbow, acceptance of every one no matter what their sexual orientation. I have friends and family who are gay, bisexual or lesbian who aren’t accepted for who they are. It’s such an awful experience to see someone you care about, not being treated like everyone else is. In honor of pride month I decided to do a rainbow Eyeshadow tutorial. I know this is nothing original, but I love the way this look turned out! I hope you enjoy!

Pride Month Makeup Tutorial
Starting out this look, I primed my eyelids and set them with setting powder. When doing an ombre sort if look with your eyeshadow, you want to go from lightest to darkest working carefully not to muddy up any of the colors already placed. I used two yellows to start out, one a pale inner banana color and then a bright yellow. I took the pale yellow and blended it out almost to the browser, then added the brighter shade a little lower. That’s why I did with all the shades. I slightly overlapped all of them to create the ombre. Next going in with the orange I kept it lower but still brought it in pretty far. Onto the red, I focused it mainly in the outer corner. Over the orange it just kept looking more orange. I couldn’t get it to look red. So I transitioned into the bright purple on the middle of the lid, fading it into the pinks I used. I made sure to pull the pink into the inner corner to connect with the lower lash line later. On the bottom lash line I started with the dark purple, blended it into the blue, then into the two greens and finally connecting yellow in the inner corner with the pink to make an orange. I tried to make it look like it was one blended ombre all around the eye.

Pride Month Makeup Tutorial

That’s it for my tutorial today! Did you like it? Let me know down below. I personally love this look. I paired it with a nude lip and a set of false lashes! I wanted to keep the lips nude so the focus stayed on the eyes. I also felt that lashes pulled the whole look together. Without lashed it seemed a bit lacking. So I decided they were needed lol. Everything I’ve used is listed below! I listed two foundations, I use half and half to get my color! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in the comments! One question I have for you guys is, if I made YouTube videos, would you watch and subscribe?!
