Dermacol Make-up Cover Foundation Review and Demo

Dermacol Make-up Cover Foundation Review and Demo

Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! Today I’m reviewing the widely talked about, Dermacol Makeup Cover! The wording on the box is a little strange, which makes sense considering it’s from Prague and translated into English. This is marketed as a "Extreme Full Coverage" foundation that you can use alone and not have to worry about concealer. There are some huge claims on the box along with an instructions booklet in multiple languages. I'll have the full list of facts and claims below!

Dermacol Make-up Cover
The Application Process and My Final Thoughts.

To start out my makeup today I made sure to was my face really well, moisturize and prime my face like I normally would. I was to give the foundation the best shot at working how it claims to. One thing to note, please look at a lot of reviews. I didn't do enough research on the shades and just went with what I thought looked my shade, But it's too dark and very orange on me! Just based on my experience, the shade in the tube is much darker than it looks like it would be online. In order for me to get it to be the correct shade, I have to mix it with my super light Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Pore-less Foundation in shade Porcelain 110. When I mix it, I use half a pea size amount of the Dermacol and about six times that amount of the Maybelline. The foundation mixed in that ration, was perfect for my skin tone. It lasted all day, I was over 80 degrees the other day and I sweat my ass off and it stayed put! I noticed it did wear away right at my hair line where I sweat the most.

Dermacol Make-up Cover
I am going to repurchase this in my shade, and keep this darker one for if I have a tan this summer and for maybe cream contour. I don't do much contouring. I don't do it well so I stick to bronzing up my skin a little. I have a large tattoo on my left forearm, so I'm going to test coverage on it and show some picture for reference, since so many claim it covers tattoos! It doesn't feel heavy on the skin, and it has a light scent. It almost smells like the Marc Jacobs Decadence One, but a little lighter! It's so nice smelling. To buy this foundation, just google it. You can find it on Amazon, Ebay, Wish, and many others. To make sure you aren't getting a weird off brand product, i'd recommend using Amazon.

Sally Hansen Ouch Relief Wax Review

Sally Hansen Ouch Relief Wax Review

Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! Today I am bringing you a review of the Sally Hansen Ouch Relief Stripless Hard Wax. Man that’s a long name! I bought this at Walmart for around ten dollars. I made the decision to buy this particular wax, because it was the only Stripless kind that had. I am the kind of person who likes waxing over shaving, because you stay hairless longer. I don’t think it hurts, maybe a little pinch is about all the pain I feel when waxing.

Sally Hansen Ouch Relief WaxThe box claims and statements include:
#1 Selling Wax Brand in the USA
Pain relief technology
For face and body
Lasts up to eight weeks
Body contouring formula eliminates coarse hair
The wax “pre treatment” wipes help to soothe and relieve pain while waxing
No strips needed
Works great on Sensitive areas
Great for Brows, Upper Lip, Bikini, Legs, Arms & More
Wax contains Oatmeal Extract, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil & Passion Flower
The box Includes:
Three large popsicle sticks
Three small popsicle sticks
Three ouch relief Numbing wipes
Four azulene Oil Finishing wipes
Instruction booklet
Four ounce pot of wax

Upon first impression I noticed it had a very slight scent to it. Most likely from the oils in it. Compared to the as Seen on t.v. purple wax, this stuff heats up super fast and an spreads really fast and smooth. The fact that it heats so fast is good and bad. It’s quicker but then again when I had to warm it back up, I took my eyes off of it for maybe ten second and it overflowed and made a huge mess. After that. I couldn’t use it anymore because it was a huge mess. Once the wax has set a few days I’m going to try scraping it off of the container and see if I can use what’s left.

Overall the Sally Hansen Ouch Relief Wax does work well. I didn’t use the ouch relief Numbing wipes, I personally don’t need them. They contain 6% benzocaine, you wipe the area down and leave the solution to dry for ten minutes before waxing. How it says to use this wax like is to put on a thin layer going with the direction of the hair. Let the wax cool for a minute and pull it off going against the grain of your hair growth to insure you’re pull the hair out properly. I had a few hairs that didn’t want to come out, so I reapplied wax to that area and did it again, which worked wonderfully. If you leave the wax on too long, it cools too much and doesn’t pull the hair out very well. That happens with all waxes though, just to note. Initially when I first pulled the wax off, my legs felt really smooth. There was some redness where the individual hairs pulled out, but that went away within a few minutes. I waited to write this for a week so I could really check hair regrowth. So far I am still hairless! Which makes me very happy. I’d honestly recommend the Sally Hansen Ouch Relief Wax to newbies, and people who are use to waxing. It works very well and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. Just in case you have some residue left behind, it does come with Azulene oil wipes that sell really good!

I hope this review has helped you out and helps you decide when buying wax for your next pampering night in! The results were awesome! If you enjoyed this post, please feel free to share it with friends and family!
