Rose Gold Glam

BH Cosmetics Shaaanxo Palette
Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today i want to share this beautiful rose gold inspired makeup tutorial featuring the Shaaanxo palette by BH Cosmetics. Recently I've become so obsessed with copper and rose gold decor and accents. So when I realized there was a rose gold shade in the Shaaanxo Palette, I had to do a tutorial! I ended up wearing this look to the grocery store and my makeup stayed on through all of my sweating and rushing around. So whatever I did with my face makeup that night, was something I need to do more often. I'll touch on that a bit more down below! Let's get started!

To start out this look I'm going to be priming my eyelids with the Hard Candy Eyeshadow Primer and set it with the matte cream shade like I always do with every look. In the crease, I went in lightly with a fluffy brush into the brick shade, slowly building up a hazy warm crease. For the lid I took a flat shader brush and picked up the rose gold shade, spraying it with some setting Spray to intensify the pigmentation. To blend the edges, I lightly faded the rose gold shade on a dry brush. To darken the outer corner i used the darkest shade and kept it closer to the lash line and outer corner. To finish off the eyeshadow, I used the Champagne color on my brow bone to soften and blend everything out.

For my face makeup I used my setting Spray, then primer and let them sit for a few minutes before moving on to concealer then foundation. I think doing that helped with the longevity of my makeup. One main problem I had that day was I didn’t wash my face that morning, so my dry skin patches seemed to flake pretty bad by the end of the night. The areas on my face that don't have dry patches, seemed to hold up really well though!

Bronze Goddess Makeup Tutorial

Bronze Goddess Makeup TutorialHey guys what’s up? Welcome back to my blog! Today I started playing in makeup and ended up doing a super bronze, orangey smoky eye look that I am loving!!! So I thought I’d hop on and share this look with you today! I know this is not a very summery look, but I love it none the less. I hope you love it as much as I do! To create this eye look I used both the Carli Bybel palette and the Shaaanxo palette. To achieve this look you need a matte cream shade, some orange, brick, dark brown and of course a deep bronze shimmer. Let’s get into the look!
To start out this look, I did all of my face makeup first. Items used will be listed below. To start the eyes, I primed using my concealer and set it with the matte nude in the Carli Bybel palette. Next I took the orange and brick shades in the Shaaanxo palette on a fluffy brush and blended it through the crease going well above with the lighter orange. Going back into the Carli Bybel palette I picked up the darkest matte brown shade and ran it through the outer crease to deepen everything up. I wanted this look to be darker than what it turned out, but these shadows are so pigmented and easy to blend that I didn’t want to overdo it. For the lid I went in with the darkest “highlight” shade, and packed it all over the lid. I went back in with a clean blending brush to soften the edges. Under the lash line I went back in with the bronze shade and blended it up to the outer lash line. That’s the eye shadow done!

Shaaanxo Palette Review and Tutorial

Shaaanxo Palette
Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! I recently ordered some items from Ulta, one of which was the Shaaanxo Palette. In today’s post I’m going to do a quick tutorial and review. I hope you enjoy! Let me know in the comments!

To start out, the packaging is beautiful. It looks like diffused and blurred twinkle lights, which are always in her video background. One side is more of a baby pink and white version of the lights, and the other side has a peachy pink tint to it. The palette contains nine eye shadows and nine lipsticks. Each side has a mirror, the side with the lipsticks has a smaller mirror, but still awesome that there even is one on each side. Can we just appreciate the fact that the lipstick and eye shadows are on completely separate sides? That is amazing. I hate when palettes have creams and powders side by side. Your lipsticks end up with powder in them and they’re ruined. Pigmentation for the eye shadows and lipsticks are both so amazing! The eye shadows blend like a dream! Some of the more shiny shades are even more intense wet, I’m so in love with it. You can go from day to night in a snap, the Shaaanxo Palette has all the matte, shimmer, lights, darks, cool and warm tones you could ask for! I see myself using it all the time. I’m so impressed with the pigment and quality of everything in the palette! I would definitely recommend the Shaaanxo Palette to anyone in search of an affordable palette that can lips and eyes!

Let’s get into this tutorial! I definitely had fun with it! I'll be numbering the eyeshadows since they don't have names. I started out by priming my eyelids with the Hard Candy Eyeshadow Primer and set it with shade 1. I took a fluffy blending brush and blended shade 2 through and above the crease. In the outer crease and corner of the lid I blended shade 3 to deepen and warm things up a bit. To finish off the eyeshadow I light patted on shade 4 on my brow bone and lightly on my lid. Underneath the lash line I took shade 3 on the outer two thirds, and shade four on the inner third. Down below I’ll list all of the products I used to complete this look!
